Brighton Carnival 11th July

Thanks to all who came to the Carnival and spotted my work. I had a record number of viewings on the website today, so all I can say is thanks! It was a great success and beautiful weather.

Top 100 Exhibition Jealous Gallery, London

London-based group Fitzrovia Noir in conjunction with Jealous Gallery
presents TOP100 an art exhibition with music as its inspiration. The
final show brings together all the work from both rounds and will have
a limited edition print produced by the Jealous Gallery print experts
of the Number 1.

The TOP100 an open submission exhibition inspired by music, lyric,
song or a homage to a favourite artist showcases album-sized 2D
original photography, painting, print, drawing, and collage

The works were selected and judged by representatives from art and
music backgrounds over two rounds of exhibitions. The first show took
place in the PRS’s main building in central London and the second
round at The Great Escape music festival in Brighton.

Having already had 5000 visitors TOP100 has proved to be a great
success this final show at Jealous Gallery gives you the chance to
vote for your own number 1 and the opportunity of winning an original
art work.

All work will be for sale with a percentage donated to the Teenage Cancer Trust.

I have been picked as one of the Top 100 Artists for my competition entry based on a lyric The Beatles song-  The End.

Latest Works- For Sale @ Save The Children, Orpington

“ORPINGTON CHICKEN”                            ”LONDON’S EYE”   SOLD

These along with 8 other pieces will be selling on Saturday 4th April between 10am and 5pm at Save The Children on Orpington High Street. Half of the profits go to charity. It is part of the new “Living and Giving” campaign, to get the public using charity shops again. “Mary Queen of Shops” visited and improved the store inventing this campaign. The program will air in June 09.

The Decked Project

I will be part of a group of talented artists and designers who will be exhibiting at the Stolenspace Gallery in London’s Brick Lane, from 24th – 30th August 09. It has been set up by Vicky Newman, with each artist being given a skateboard deck to work on. All the items will be for sale, so be sure to mark these important dates in your diary!! x
