Exciting New Book Illustration – Finally My Ambulance by Joseph Smith

Author Joseph Smith had found my previous illustration of a WW2 ambulance and recommended my work to the publisher for his new book “Finally My Ambulance” . This resulted in a front and back cover illustration reflecting the short stories in the book. The book is available for preorder on Amazon for release on July 4th 2013. Published by Vintage – Random House.

Top 100 Exhibition Jealous Gallery, London

London-based group Fitzrovia Noir in conjunction with Jealous Gallery
presents TOP100 an art exhibition with music as its inspiration. The
final show brings together all the work from both rounds and will have
a limited edition print produced by the Jealous Gallery print experts
of the Number 1.

The TOP100 an open submission exhibition inspired by music, lyric,
song or a homage to a favourite artist showcases album-sized 2D
original photography, painting, print, drawing, and collage

The works were selected and judged by representatives from art and
music backgrounds over two rounds of exhibitions. The first show took
place in the PRS’s main building in central London and the second
round at The Great Escape music festival in Brighton.

Having already had 5000 visitors TOP100 has proved to be a great
success this final show at Jealous Gallery gives you the chance to
vote for your own number 1 and the opportunity of winning an original
art work.

All work will be for sale with a percentage donated to the Teenage Cancer Trust.

“ORPINGTON CHICKEN”                            “LONDON’S EYE”   SOLD

These along with 8 other pieces will be selling on Saturday 4th April between 10am and 5pm at Save The Children on Orpington High Street. Half of the profits go to charity. It is part of the new “Living and Giving” campaign, to get the public using charity shops again. “Mary Queen of Shops” visited and improved the store inventing this campaign. The program will air in June 09.
